Kickstart with some Indian Indie Music Bawa Rap by The Family Cheese
It’s about a Parsi boy and his family. No, we are not talking about Tatas and Mistrys and their corporate mysteries. There is time to be critical, and then there is time to enjoy a boy ranting about the problems, but then Bawa Rap also has Old Monk to stir things up and change the mood.
Yohan Marshall will kill us like many Indie Artists if there was an attempt of a comparison made with Bollywood. But the track vocals at places reminds us of Abhishek Bachchan rapping for Kala Bandar for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Delhi 6 or Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum and Bluffmaster.
A brilliant fun track with a simple stop motion based Music video treatment. Evidently made with a lot of fun while shooting. We enjoyed it hope you do too –
