The band was formed in London in 1962……..and later, spread like a wildfire in music

  1. Counter-culture lyrics- their different attempts at music was also unintentionally associated with rebellious counter-culture of America. The lyrics were inspiring, funky, party rollup kind of music; yet , echoed sentiments reflective of America’s imbibed culture at that time
  2. Notable accolades- Stones were a part of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004.  On Aug. 1, 1994, the Rolling Stones opened their massive ‘Voodoo Lounge’ world tour…….
