Chris Pratt is back as James Reece, and this time, there is nowhere left to run. The first trailer for The Terminal List Season 2 has arrived, promising a bigger, more international mission for the Navy SEAL Commander.
Pratt returns as Reece for the eight-episode second season, premiering Wednesday, October 21.
Based on the bestselling novels by Jack Carr, the series follows Reece as he navigates deadly conspiracies, covert operations, and a world where the line between personal revenge and global conflict keeps disappearing.
James Reece Goes Global
Season 1 centered on Reece’s psychological battle and his pursuit of those he believed were responsible for devastating events in his life.
Season 2 takes the story in a significantly broader direction.
Based on Carr’s second novel, True Believer, the new season follows Reece after he has completed his original mission. Instead of simply continuing the revenge story, he is pulled into a sprawling espionage operation that takes him around the world.
The story reportedly moves through the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East and Europe, transforming The Terminal List from a revenge thriller into a globe-spanning action and espionage series.
The stakes also appear deeply personal.
A Conspiracy Reaches From Moscow to Langley
The Terminal List season 2 finds Reece uncovering a conspiracy stretching from Moscow to Langley and connecting to his own family history.
That revelation gives the character another reason to keep fighting, even after finishing the list that defined his journey in Season 1.
The trailer teases gun battles, tactical operations, and increasingly dangerous confrontations as Reece attempts to understand who is pulling the strings.
Joining him are returning characters Raife Hastings, played by Tom Hopper; journalist Katie Buranek, played by Constance Wu; Mohammed Farooq, played by Dar Salim; and Jules Landry, played by Luke Hemsworth.
Gabriel Luna joins the cast as newcomer Freddy Strain.
The expanded ensemble also includes Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb and Shiraz Tzarfati.
