New YouTube channel with Chef Ranveer Brar teaches cooking with fruits

After the success of its flagship Kiwi pre-packs, fresh fruit importer IG International, in association with Belgian fruit and vegetable cooperative BelOrta has launched a YouTube channel called BelOrta Conference Pears India – Ranveer Brar. It features Chef Ranveer Brar in tutorials for fruit-based recipes of different dishes, which audiences can watch and learn – from main courses to desserts – all using the exotic Belgian Conference Pears.

Expressing his delight on the launch of the YouTube channel  and the tie-up with BelOrta, Tarun Arora, Director – Finance and Operations said, “With well-known Chef Ranveer Brar on the channel, we are sure more people from across the country will be motivated to try our offerings.

IG International procures over 31 varieties of fresh fruits from about 22 countries across the globe and have been in the import and export of fresh produce for over half a century. They cater to a number of cities across India. Mr. Arora further added, “We strive to bring the best quality fruits from around the world to India for our customers and now we’re giving them more ideas on how to make the best of this high-quality produce.”

The Belgian fruit and vegetable cooperative, BelOrta has a supply of more than 120 varieties of vegetables, 30 varieties of fruit and 17 varieties of herbs throughout the year.

Ask Chef Brar why this particular fruit and he says excitedly, “I think it’s the most underrated pear variety and when I had a chance to cook with it, inspiration came naturally.”
