Bangalore-based Pianta raises undisclosed seed funding from FreeCharge founders
Pianta, a Bangalore-based home healthcare services marketplace, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from FreeCharge founders Kunal Shah and Sandeep Tandon.
Founded in 2015 by Swaminathan Seetharaman, Ganesh Subramanian, and Nitin Agarwal, Pianta aims to connect trusted home health care providers with consumers. It also sells home healthcare practice management software, namely Pianta+, which enables home service providers to effectively manage their field force, track them real time and digitise customer details.
Currently, Pianta provides home services in Bangalore. It also sells home healthcare practice management software Pianta+ to enable efficiency and streamline operations. Pianta+ enables home service providers to effectively manage their field force, track them real time and digitise customer details.
Pianta has other competitors in the healthcare space that includes Kerala-based PurpleHealth.com. The health-on-demand platform has raised $100,000 from tech investor Katabole Technology Venture.
Gurgaon-based e-pharmacy marketplace 1mg has also raised Rs 100 crore Series B investment led by Maverick Capital Ventures. eKincare has raised $329K in Pre-Series A round. Mumbai-based healthcare technology and services startup Healthenablr India Pvt. Ltd has raised $800,000 (Rs. 5.5 Cr).
