What makes Café Lota special? Well, it is the Palak Papri Chaat which is an urbane twist on something we all grew up with. The papri chaat is served with a twist here. Chef Rahul has created this delicacy using whole spinach leaves that are deep fried after being covered in some textured batter. This “healthy” papri is then doused in whipped curd and some flavoured chutneys – mint and sonth, giving it the perfect balance of sweet and sour without being over bearing. It is the perfect dish for those summer evenings when you want something to cool your senses.
