The band’s frontman John Mpamei’s musical journey started when he was just 13 and soon established himself as a solo artist. The band’s music explores a variety of genres such as Classic, Retro and some Pop. The band features bassist- Rambiyang, Akshay Ravi as the guitarist, Rufus as the drummer along with Jonah Pamei on Rhythm guitar and vocals. Heavens Down: Seasoned, not weathered, five of Delhi’s finest musicians are back to brew their magic. Artists who have been in the Delhi music circuit for over a decade, the members have gone through various avatars. Formed in 2010, Heavens Down toured in Australia after releasing their EP Rock Will Never Die.
Yesterdrive: From Arunachal Pradesh, this indie outfit reflects a post-punk vibe and sounds from the 1980’s. An indie alternative rock band featured in VH1, they are now based out of New Delhi and include a lot more electronica into their act via sampling, synths and effects.
