‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ has been an extravagant hit in the country ever since the beginning. Indian audiences have been trying endlessly to get on the show and it was one such episode which was an inspiration for a viewer to make a Quiz App of his own!
For these two brothers Nirav Gandhi, 32 and Jiten Gadhi, 24 having grown up amidst machines as a part of their family managed business, starting something of their own was a passion since childhood.
Today, a year down the line, they have created a quizzing app Khel Minto Ka which brings together a combination of Knowledge plus Fun plus Money and aims to change the Lives of people in whatever little way it can.
Khel Minto Ka is a Trivia App like no other where users compete against each other over an interest- led topic and they get to Learn and Earn while having Fun.
In the year 2014, Magic at Work Mediatainment LLP was born which believed technology can change lives, and thus the duo embarked upon this journey.
“It all started while I was watching an episode of KBC and a lady in her early 40’s on being selected for the hot seat after winning the fastest finger first round went and hugged Amitabh Bachhan and said “I have been waiting for this moment for a really long, long time. I have been sending SMSs since so many years but never ever got a call”.
This moment made me wonder if people wanted to go to KBC because people want to meet Amitabh Bachchan or they want to win the Cash Prize? Then I realised that why can’t we provide a platform that can help change lives? And thus “KHEL MINTO KA – KMK QUIZ” was born, said Nirav Gandhi, co-founder, Khel Minto Ka.

Users are paired in a real time scenario for daily games in topics of their choice. There are 10 Major topics and hundreds of sub topics that a user can choose from. Topics range from Business, Movies, Lifestyle, Food, Sport etc. Users can gain knowledge in these topics which finally pays off in the Weekly Finale contest held every Thursday at 9:00 PM, where they are asked 10 simple questions to win the cash prize which is rewarded to the top 10 Winners.
The Winners are paid as per their rankings ie. 1st prize is Rs 25,000/- and 2nd to 10th – Rs 1000/- each.
In order to participate in the Weekly finale, the users need to register themselves between Thursday 12:00 am to Wednesday 11:59 pm, for the upcoming finale by purchasing a Rs 10/- ticket. This ticket can be bought using KMK coins, 1 Coin = Rs 1/-.
The amount would be deducted from your phone balance. That’s not all, users can also win daily coins by coming in the Top 10 of the leader board or by playing 250 games every week.
KMK also has a unique system in which even the users can contribute to databank by submitting the questions on the KMK website which they want to see in their quiz.
