India is going through a digital revolution. Internet has become an integral part of a large number of people in the country. According to a strategist of Google India as reported by the Times of India, “There are 350 million internet users in India, of which 152 million are mobile users. This number is projected to increase to 500 million in 2017, of which 400 million are going to be mobile users,” Ashish Kalsi, the strategist at Google India.
Ashish elaborated that content is one of the most important things today. “Content is king”, he said at a workshop for journalists organized by Vox Foundation and “powered by Google”.
Accessibility, value, display and great user experience are the four most important things that is required by Google to discover sites easily.
