Peloton and Adidas are working together to create a new line of athletic apparel and lifestyle gear, which will come in unisex styles and inclusive sizes. The merchandise will include tees, hoodies, shorts, crewnecks, jogger pants and sports bras; with sizes up to 2X.
The partnership, as per Adidas official statement, will begin with the adidas x Peloton SS21 collection, a line of performance wear and lifestyle pieces made in collaboration with Peloton instructors Ally Love, Robin Arzon and Cody Rigsby. The instructors were involved in the design process to help develop a co-creation model.
The teams worked to produce styles and fits rooted in inclusivity and crafted with quality performance technology for high energy workouts, plus comfort for relaxed recovery days. Moreover, the collection marks Peloton’s first-ever instructor-designed global-level collaboration.
According to an official statement, the new range will go on sale on Peloton and Adidas’ websites and respective retail stores. Aimee Arana, Adidas General Manager of Global Training, in the statement said that during a time where we are not able to be physically together, we have an incredible opportunity to help grow connected communities and continue to support people as they build their new fitness journeys at home.
Adidas is the latest clothing company to join Peloton. It has never been a strong revenue driver, but its a way for the company to entice new sign-ups for its app-based membership via referral codes that offer clothing discounts. Notedly, Peloton doesn’t break out its apparel sales, instead they are folded into the company’s connected-fitness product division.

The launch will also include a series of on-demand classes, available on the Peloton Bike, Bike+ and the Peloton App starting March 18, as well as a live class celebrating the collection drop on March 25.
