Nephro Care India Limited (NCIL) has inaugurated the Vivacity Multispecialty Hospital in Madhyamgram, Kolkata. This state-of-the-art facility, set up at an investment of Rs 36.51 crore, represents a significant advancement in healthcare for East India. The hospital features AI-enabled smart operation theatres (OTs) and intensive care units (ICUs), making it the first of its kind in the region.
The new 100-bed hospital includes a 30-bed Critical Care unit equipped with ICU, HDU, RTU, and NICU facilities. Vivacity offers a wide range of medical services, including cardiology, medical oncology, gastroenterology, gynaecology, and an advanced renal transplant unit.
Deepak Parekh-backed NCIL recently completed its IPO, listing at Rs 171 per share—a 90% premium over the fixed price band of Rs 90. The IPO was highly successful, with over 2 crore shares awaiting purchase on its opening day.

Vivacity will also offer extensive diagnostic services through a central pathological lab and a 30-bed dialysis center. The hospital’s infrastructure includes five modular OTs, a minor OT, and a Cath lab with a Laminar Air Flow and HEPA Filter. Additionally, the facility will provide specialized mother and child care services and operate 10 outpatient departments (OPDs).
Founded in 2014 by Dr. Pratim Sengupta, one of India’s leading nephrologists, Nephro Care India has been dedicated to providing comprehensive medical services for renal patients.
