With the wedding season in bloom, BankBazaar.com has launched a digital campaign encouraging youth to reconsider their financial dependency on their parents and telling them to #PlayYourPart.
Aiming to change the way people think about their finances, with the #PlayYourPart campaign, BankBazaar.com is looking to disrupt the traditional mentality of finances during wedding planning.
The youth of today have better purchasing power hence they are constantly looking to better their lifestyle. People feel more empowered thus even buying their first vehicle, planning international trips or even buying their first homes are decisions that are being taken more independently. However, when it comes to arrangements for weddings, parents are still required to dip into their life savings to make that ‘ideal wedding’ possible.
Speaking about the digital campaign, Adhil Shetty, CEO & Co-founder BankBazaar.com, said: “Wedding seasons are a busy time with a lot of traction from customers across the country looking for financial products across categories. So this was the right time for a campaign that underscored the emotions of the season and made the viewers connect with an idea that is empowering and disruptive at the same time – that of funding at least part of your wedding yourself. We believe this campaign will help us build a connect with the right audience at the right time in the right manner.”
The campaign will be promoted across various digital platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. The advertisement was conceived and conceptualised by ad veteran Manoj Shetty.
