Oasis Told to ‘Keep Quiet’ on Trump Before US Tour- Will Gallagher Brothers Listen?

As Oasis prepare to launch the US leg of their long-awaited reunion tour, the Gallagher brothers have been hit with a stark piece of advice: stay silent on Donald Trump. Following a hugely successful UK tour that reignited the band’s iconic sibling dynamic, Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher are set to take the stage in Chicago on August 28, before heading to New Jersey and California. But industry insiders are urging the brothers to tread carefully in America’s heated political climate.

Top entertainment manager Jonathan Shalit has advised Oasis to steer clear of any political commentary about the US President, warning that outspoken remarks could disrupt the tour. “My advice to Oasis is simple: stay out of American politics,” Shalit said. “If they want their US tour to go ahead without disruption, it would be wise to keep quiet on all things Trump.”

The warning comes after both Gallaghers have previously taken public shots at Trump.  Liam Gallagher once called him a “d***,” while Noel criticized his environmental policies as “pretty f***ing scary.” In 2018, during their infamous feud, Liam even quipped that Noel Gallagher was “worse than Donald Trump.”

The advice isn’t without precedent — earlier this year, a French scientist was reportedly denied entry to the US after immigration officials found anti-Trump comments on his phone. The incident highlights the potential risks for international public figures who publicly challenge the president.

Despite the cautionary words, fans know that Oasis has never shied away from speaking their minds. The band’s history is full of blunt remarks, headline-grabbing antics, and an unapologetic Mancunian swagger. Whether the Gallagher Brothers will rein in their opinions on Donald Trump or double down remains to be seen.

On a personal level, the tour holds extra sentiment. Reports suggest that Peggy Gallagher, the brothers’ mother, will attend the Dublin shows at Croke Park next weekend. After recovering from hip surgery, Peggy Gallagher is said to have played a key role in reconciling her sons, ending years of public estrangement.

Oasis Reunion Ignites Cardiff: Gallagher Brothers Reunite After 16 Years for Electric Stadium Show

Oasis’ US run will be followed by dates in Mexico, Japan, Australia, and Brazil, before wrapping up in London at Wembley Stadium in late September. Given America’s current political tensions — and the Gallagher Brothers’ tendency to speak without a filter — their shows could deliver more than just music.

For now, the world waits to see whether Oasis will roll with it or stir the political pot. Either way, their US tour promises to be one of the year’s most talked-about rock comebacks.
