“My Karma Is Straight”: Drake Gets Deep in Amsterdam & Teases Iceman Album
In a rare emotional moment on stage, global rap superstar Drake took time during his Amsterdam concert to reflect on the importance of karma, kindness, and realness in sustaining his career — while also teasing his much-anticipated album, Iceman.
Performing the first of three shows in the Dutch capital as part of his $ome $pecial $hows 4 U.K. tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR, the 6 God paused the music to deliver what fans called one of his “realest speeches yet.” “Never give up. Keep going, not even on some preachy sh*t,” Drake told the crowd. “I didn’t get here by being a snake. I didn’t get here by being a dickhead. I got here by being good to people. My karma is straight.”
The moment drew roaring cheers from fans at the packed venue, many of whom shared the clip across social media with captions like “Drake is in his wise era” and “This hit deep.”

The Certified Lover Boy rapper, who’s been dominating the game for nearly two decades, also took a second to show gratitude for the unwavering fan support. “That’s why I’m still on stage in 2025,” he said. “I appreciate you always supporting me, always being there for me. I love y’all.”
Unlike his usual banter-filled shows, Drake talked about Karma, admitting there would be “no jokes” that night — just appreciation and vulnerability. He closed the speech with a surprise nugget for fans eagerly awaiting his next move: a shoutout to his upcoming album Iceman. “I’m working on this album for y’all, Iceman. We got a lot to talk about,” he teased.
