Genesis Foundation (GF) today announced the second edition of the Goa Rhythm & Blues Music Festival, a platform that brings together renowned music artists from across the country to perform and raise funds for children battling for their lives.
This year, the festival is scheduled to be held on 11th and 12th November at Taj Vivanta, Fort Aguada, Goa. The event will see a mix of established and upcoming artists from India performing in support of the critically ill, under-privileged children under GF’s care.
The two-day music festival will see a line-up of ten bands and musicians performing at Bay View Lawns of Vivanta by Taj-Fort Aguada. Last year, attendees witnessed performances by artists like The Aviv Pereira Project, Divine Raaga, Shilpa Rao, Sun, MoonArra, Ministry of Blues, The Doors Perception and Soulmate.
Speaking on the announcement, Prema Sagar, Founding Trustee, GF said, “This time around, we bring to you an exciting line up of artists performing and joining hands with us in this beautiful cause of saving lives of children in need. These kids hold a very special place in our hearts and each one of us at Genesis Foundation, wish to bring a smile on their faces through initiatives like Goa RnB.”
GF has so far been able to support the treatment of 1000+ critically ill children. The numbers highlight the magnitude of the situation of kids suffering from critical illnesses in our country and the need for more people to extend their support to aid medical treatment of these under-privileged children whose parents need financial support to get necessary treatment for medical intervention.
Entry to #GoaRnB will be for the supporters and donors of Genesis Foundation.
