Cardi B Torches Offset Over Spousal Support: “I Want You to Die Slow”
Cardi B isn’t mincing words. In a blistering audio clip that surfaced online, the Grammy-winning rapper lit into her estranged husband, Offset, for requesting spousal support amid their ongoing divorce battle.
“I want you to die, but I want you to die f–king slow,” Cardi B seethed in the audio, which quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter). “I want you to die slow in the bed and while you die, n—a, you gotta think of me.”
The clip comes on the heels of Offset’s legal move to seek alimony, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The former Migos star, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, updated his divorce response in early May, asking for an undisclosed amount of spousal support from Cardi, who filed for divorce in July 2024 after nearly seven years of marriage.
But Cardi B says she’s done playing nice. In the same audio, she revealed she amended her initial divorce filing to remove any child support demands, despite being the primary caregiver to their three kids: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and baby Blossom, just 8 months old.
“I didn’t ask for no child support because I want to be done with this marriage,” Cardi B explained. “I feel like I’m tied up.”
The “WAP” rapper insisted she hasn’t withheld the kids from Offset and accused him of being an absentee father. “Kiari is allowed to see my kids. There is not one day that he’s not allowed to see my kids,” she said. “He stood up my kids three times… He has seen Blossom only like five times.”
Offset on spousal support hasn’t responded publicly to Cardi B’s accusations.
The thing is: I don’t even think it’s about the money. Offset just wants to mess with Cardi because he’s in his feelings that she has moved on.

Cardi further claimed Offset last spent time with their children in March during a birthday celebration for his son Kody, 9, from a previous relationship. Despite her open-door policy for visitations, she said Offset rarely makes the effort.
“You asking for spousal support because I’m trying to take the kids from you?” she added. “The kids is always open to see you. It’s not my fault you don’t want to fly to New York.”
Though Offset has remained mostly silent, he did show a rare moment of maturity in May when a fan speculated he’d be upset over Cardi B’s rumored relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs. “I’m happy for her!!” he commented.
Their relationship, marked by cheating scandals, public reconciliations, and viral PDA, has finally reached a dramatic boiling point. With no clear end in sight and Cardi B’s fury on full display, the only thing more explosive than their breakup is the courtroom battle looming ahead.
