Fuzzculture signs up with Universal Music India

Universal Music India’s latest addition to their stellar roster is none other than Delhi’s very own critically acclaimed electronic rock duo, Fuzzculture. The band is now a part of the music label’s new wing called Contrabands, – a joint venture between UMI, Vh1 India and Hard Rock Cafe.

Fuzzculture consists of two of the most talented musicians that the country has ever witnessed. On guitars is Arsh Sharma who is also known for his role in Delhi’s popular alternative rock band, The Circus. On the other side of the spectrum is Srijan Mahajan who takes over the drum duties while playing alongside a plethora of revered bands like Parikrama, Half Step Down and Cyanide. Fuzzculture is known for their signature yet unpredictable blend of aggressive guitars and pounding drums that are sugar-coated with a healthy dose of electronica.

The duo released their EP “Indulge/Divulge” in 2013 to rave reviews and have toured across the nation to play at packed venues. This year also saw them heading to UK to give the locals there a taste of Indian electronic rock.

Their upcoming album “NO” is easily one of the highly-awaited releases of the year. The surreal and brilliant album artwork is done by famed indie artist, Reuben Bhattacharya AKA Visual Amnesia. Though the release date is unconfirmed, Fuzzculture plans to conduct a nation-wide tour to support the release. With a sound that is easily one of the most defining ones in Indian indie music and a stage presence that sends crowds into a frenzy, Fuzzculture is surely heading towards a meteoric rise.
