Lostprophets’ Vocalist Abuses Baby, Sentenced to 35 Years Prison Time
Former lead singer of Welsh rock band Lostprophets, Ian Watkins, was sentenced to 35 years in jail for his alleged attempt at molesting a baby. Pleading guilty after a month of the incident, Watkins was finally sentenced today. Apart from being accused of blowing meth smoke into the baby’s face, he was caught reacting to the rape as, “Mega Lolz”. The band, which formed in 1997, has been disbanded after the arrest of Watkins.
According to Wales Online, Watkins was initially sentenced to 29 years of imprisonment until the court unearthed his previous crimes and extended the prison time to 35 years.
In the courtroom verdict, one of the allegations stated, “Watkins is also charged with conspiracy to rape another child, one count of sexual assault, one of aiding and abetting sexual assault by penetration and conspiracy to sexually assault a child. In addition he (Watkins) faces 17 counts of making, taking and possessing indecent images and one of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving an animal.”
