PartyNextDoor Launches Immersive Fortnite Concert With Private Jet Ride From Toronto to Miami
R&B superstar PartyNextDoor is officially taking over Fortnite. Starting August 1 at 1 PM ET, fans can dive into a brand-new immersive music experience that blends virtual travel, interactive gameplay, and a high-energy concert featuring the artist’s biggest hits. Developed in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Immersive Music Studios, and OVO Sound, the PartyNextDoor Fortnite Experience is poised to be one of the most talked-about virtual concerts of the year.
Set on a custom-designed island built to reflect the singer’s creative vision, the experience begins atop Toronto’s iconic CN Tower — a nod to PartyNextDoor’s hometown. Players will then board a private jet for a jet-setting journey to South Beach, where the main performance unfolds. The event culminates in a VIP afterparty at a virtual re-creation of Miami’s legendary nightclub LIV, hosted at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
But this isn’t just a passive concert. Fortnite players will be able to participate in mini-games, scavenger hunts, parkour challenges, and other interactive quests as they travel through the world of PartyNextDoor. These gameplay elements are designed to fully immerse players in the artist’s universe, from gritty Toronto streets to the neon-lit clubs of Miami.
Of course, the heart of the experience is the music. A larger-than-life digital avatar of PartyNextDoor will perform stylized versions of his fan-favorite tracks, including “Break from Toronto” (which will be available as a Jam Track in the Fortnite Shop), “Make It To The Morning,” and “Somebody Loves Me.” The concert visuals promise to push Fortnite’s creative boundaries, combining cinematic flair with real-time interactivity.
“When the opportunity to create our own world came up, it was a natural fit,” PartyNextDoor says. A longtime Fortnite fan, he has played the game for years and wanted to deliver something “visually stunning and musically authentic.”

This virtual concert follows a wave of major career highs for the Grammy-nominated artist. As the first signee to Drake’s OVO Sound label, PartyNextDoor has been behind some of the biggest hits in pop and R&B — from his own chart-toppers like “Come and See Me” to writing global anthems like Rihanna feat. Drake’s “Work” and DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts.”
His most recent album P4 has surpassed one billion global streams, and his surprise collaborative mixtape with Drake, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, soared to the top of the Billboard 200 and Apple Music charts across all genres. He is currently touring Europe in support of the project.
