Liminal becomes a certified wallet infrastructure platform

Leading wallet infrastructure platform- Liminal, announced achieving CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) – Qualified Security Provider (QSP) Level 3 certification, making it one of the only two digital asset Qualified Service Providers to reach this level at time of print.

The CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) is a standard for securing cryptocurrency systems. It is designed to complement existing information security standards (i.e. ISO 27001:2013) by introducing guidance for security best practices concerning cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrency and cybersecurity experts, including Andreas M. Antonopopulous, Michael Perklin, Petri Basson, Jameson Lopp, and S. Dirk Anderson,  utilized their years of security and cryptocurrency experience to curate the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS). With CCSS, companies and products can have their systems assessed by a third party to ensure a balance between security and usability, enabling users to make informed decisions about which companies and products they would like to use.

The CCSS certification & audit process was led Marc Krisjanous, IT Security Consultant at Confide Limited and CCSS Auditor. Liminal’s CCSS-QSP Level 3 certification was achieved through a rigorous, audited security review process that tested the platform’s security protocols, operational processes, and infrastructure. The certification also required Liminal to implement a comprehensive set of security measures that protect user data, funds, and transactions which included Liminal Hot, Warm and Cold Wallets, Liminal Secure Transfer Environment, Liminal Authorization Workflow, Liminal Automated Refill Engine, Liminal EVM Fee Saver Workflow and Liminal Policy Engine.

Jessica Levesque, Executive Director at CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4), said, “C4 has been setting the standard for industry players and operators since its inception in 2014. Our goal at C4 is to safeguard the interests of users by maximising the confidentiality of private keys and ensuring the integrity of cryptocurrency funds. We are pleased that Liminal’s wallet infrastructure system attained CCSS-QSP level 3 as we share the same ethos: Don’t trust; verify” You can verify Liminal on C4’s CCSS Certificate of Compliance listing page here: https://cryptoconsortium.org/completed-ccss-audits/
