Bitget Launches Stocks 2.0, Bringing U.S. Stocks and ETFs to Crypto Traders with USDT Dividend Payouts
Crypto exchange Bitget has announced the launch of Bitget Stocks 2.0, an upgrade to its tokenized stock trading platform designed to bridge traditional financial markets and digital assets.
The new offering enables users to trade tokenized versions of leading U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) directly within the Bitget ecosystem while benefiting from improved liquidity, enhanced asset transparency, and broader utility across the platform.
The product is issued through Reality, a licensed real-world asset (RWA) issuance platform, with Bitget providing trading infrastructure, security, and ecosystem support.
Access to Top U.S. Stocks and ETFs
The first rollout of Bitget Stocks 2.0 includes 36 stock-linked assets tied to some of the world’s most recognized companies and investment products.
Among the available assets are tokenized representations of major equities and ETFs, including Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla, Alphabet, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and the popular QQQ ETF.
The launch reflects growing demand for tokenized financial products that allow investors to gain exposure to traditional markets without leaving the digital asset ecosystem.
USDT-Based Dividend Payments
One of the platform’s most notable features is its support for USDT-based dividend distributions.
Under the Bitget Stocks 2.0 framework, eligible cash dividends generated by underlying stock assets are converted into USDT and credited directly to users’ accounts. Stock dividends are also reflected in user balances, while corporate actions such as stock splits and reverse splits are mirrored to maintain economic alignment with the underlying asset.
The system is designed to provide investors with exposure that closely tracks the economic performance of real-world equities.
Enhanced Liquidity and Trading Efficiency
Bitget says Stocks 2.0 has been built to offer a more seamless trading experience by connecting tokenized stock trading with broader equity market liquidity channels.
The company claims users will benefit from deeper order books, reduced trading friction, and faster execution speeds compared with earlier tokenized stock models.
The upgraded product also supports direct trading against USDT, simplifying access for cryptocurrency investors seeking exposure to traditional financial markets.
Integration Across the Bitget Ecosystem
Beyond simple spot trading, Stocks 2.0 expands the role of tokenized equities within Bitget’s broader ecosystem.
Eligible stock tokens can be utilized within unified trading accounts and margin systems. Users can also integrate these assets with selected trading and investment tools, including spot grid strategies, futures grid trading, copy trading services, and certain yield-generating products.
This approach aims to provide greater flexibility for investors looking to diversify portfolios while maintaining exposure to global equity markets.
Growing Momentum for Tokenized Assets
The launch highlights the increasing interest in real-world asset tokenization, a sector many analysts believe could reshape global finance over the coming decade.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen described tokenized equities as a key bridge between traditional and digital financial systems, suggesting that tokenization could account for a significant share of global financial assets in the future.
Bitget has already established an early presence in the tokenized asset sector. The company reports that its cumulative tokenized stock trading volume surpassed $1 billion earlier this year, while its stock futures products have generated more than $10 billion in cumulative trading volume.
As competition intensifies among exchanges seeking to merge traditional finance with blockchain technology, Bitget’s Stocks 2.0 launch positions the platform as a significant player in the evolving tokenized securities market.
