Neuron Energy, a distinguished manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) batteries, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Urja Mobility, a trailblazer in battery leasing for commercial EVs. This collaboration aims to revolutionize last-mile delivery services by providing innovative battery leasing solutions.
Commencing in March 2024 and spanning until the end of the following year, Neuron Energy has committed to supplying 2400 battery packs for electric vehicles in the L5 category and 10,000 battery packs for electric vehicles in the L3 category. This strategic alliance is projected to generate substantial revenue, estimated at approximately 100 Crores for Neuron Energy, across both L3 and L5 categories. The partnership underscores a significant stride towards advancing sustainable transportation solutions, particularly in the last-mile delivery sector.
Renowned for its comprehensive range of electric mobility solutions, including lead-acid, advanced lithium-ion, and cutting-edge sodium-ion technologies, Neuron Energy is supported by Mufin Green Finance Limited. Urja Mobility will procure advanced, high-quality battery packs from Neuron Energy, which will then be leased to 3Eco, an esteemed brand under 3EV, specializing in hyper-local connectivity solutions for efficient last-mile delivery services to various e-commerce companies.
Having established a longstanding partnership with 3EV over the past 30 months, Neuron Energy currently supplies over a thousand battery packs that are operational in their fleet across several cities. Notably, 3Eco operates its captive fleet in major metropolitan areas such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Coimbatore.
