ISB Welcomes 51 Aspiring Entrepreneurs for Inaugural I-Venture Immersive (ivi) Programme

The Indian School of Business (ISB), as part of its ongoing efforts to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial innovation, welcomed the first cohort of its I-Venture Immersive (ivi) programme. This six-month, full-time, on-campus programme is designed to guide aspiring entrepreneurs through the stages of idea discovery and building scalable ventures.

The inaugural batch consists of 51 entrepreneurs, with 22 females and 29 males, reflecting a commitment to diversity in the entrepreneurial space. Over 40% of the cohort are women, emphasizing ISB’s focus on empowering female entrepreneurs. These individuals began their journey on October 3, 2024, and are set to experience a transformative programme aimed at turning their ideas into successful businesses.




At the launch event,  Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Education, along with Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean of ISB, and Professor Bhagwan Chowdhry, Faculty Director of I-Venture @ ISB, unveiled a state-of-the-art classroom specifically designed for the ivi programme. The newly inaugurated space is meant to foster innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning, making it a hub for creative thinking. The innovative classroom reflects ISB’s commitment to providing world-class facilities for entrepreneurial education.

During his address, Jayant Chaudhary praised ISB’s initiatives, highlighting the programme’s potential to enhance India’s startup ecosystem. He remarked, “This programme will empower aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality, further strengthening the country’s startup ecosystem.” He also acknowledged the diverse makeup of the cohort, applauding its inclusivity and balance.

The ivi programme, described as “more than an incubator, more than a school,” offers budding entrepreneurs a full-time, immersive experience that goes beyond traditional incubator models. Conducted on ISB’s Hyderabad campus, it provides access to transformative support, mentorship from industry leaders, and funding opportunities to help bring innovative ideas to market.

Mr. Saumya Kumar, Director of I-Venture @ ISB, along with industry leaders and startup experts, attended the event, contributing to the excitement surrounding the launch of this groundbreaking programme.

With its rich resources, cutting-edge curriculum, and dedication to fostering innovation, ISB’s I-Venture Immersive is set to play a vital role in developing India’s next generation of successful entrepreneurs.
