Escape Summer Vibe: A Pre-Cursor To The Naukuchiatal Gig 

The Escape Festival of Arts and Music has been a champion favourite of India’s music festivals. While dates for the main festival will be announced later this year, the organisers have ensured that festival followers get their dose of the Escape Summer Vibe, on 17 May 2014.

The one-day festival will feature most Escape essentials, new undiscovered talent, seasoned music makers, a pool for a water body and several genres of music as always. The mini fest will take place amidst soothing Season’s Golf Resort, Tarudhan Valley, Manesar.

The Escape Festival of Arts and Music (rated among top ten music destination festivals of India) started in May 2009 when a few musicians and like-minded people decided to get away from New Delhi for a few days. They chose a picturesque resort at Naukuchiatal, at the foothills of The Himalayas which became their escape. Speaking about the Escape Summer Vibe, L Tochhawng aka Mama, Festival Director says,  “While the dates for the main festival will be announced in due time, we welcome all Escape patrons to come and spend a fun weekend on the outskirts of Delhi. Escape Summer Vibe is a precursor intended for people to live and feel the Escape experience which they are so used every May”.

Line-up

An offshoot of one of the coolest destination music festivals of the country – Escape Summer Vibe makes for the perfect summer bash to unwind, the festival will have 2 zones –  Dance Arena (Pool Side) and Chill Zone (Fountain Lawns) which will feature stellar performances  featuring genres like Rock and Roll, House, Deep House, Commercial, Retro, Techno, Reggae,  Progressive, Dub, Drum & Bass, Psy Trance, Ambient and Jazz. The line-up at Escape Summer Vibe has names such as Soul’d Out, Fuzz Culture, Minimal Monk, and BlueOrb/BuffaPirate.
