Command a Star Destroyer in the latest update of Fortnite Chapter 6 MS1

Epic Games has been releasing numerous super modes recently. This first started in Chapter 1, you could become Thanos after finding his gauntlet. This soon evolved into The Isle of Doom from Chapter 5 of Season 4, then to Godzilla in Chapter 6 of Season 1, and now Star Destroyer in Fortnite Chapter 6 of MS1. Enter a rift portal that spawns after the first storm circle to take control of a Star Destroyer so that you can rain hellfire upon the Chapter 6 MS1 island!  This new super mode portal works exactly like Godzilla from the 2 seasons before.

Upon entering the portal, a Star Destroyer in Fortnite’s Chapter 6  will drop out of hyperspace with a cinematic animation to strike fear into your enemies’ hearts.  Depending on the mode, you and your teammates will be rifted into the bridge of the battleship, where you will go on to man the Imperial Star Destroyer weapon systems.

You will have a 90-second window to rain destruction upon your adversaries. You have the option to leave early, but who would do that, logically given the offensive prowess of the ship’s laser cannons?

The laser cannons inflict massive damage to both players and structures. Once you have initialised your control of the ship, your HUD will reveal all near hostiles so that you can send them back to the lobby.

On paper, the 90-second window seems to be too small, but the fact that the Star Destroyer is invulnerable to your enemies’ greatest efforts of victory over the Empire’s Finest ships.

Upon your window closing, you will be rifted back down to the battlefield you have created.

Fortnite Chapter 6 MS 1 – New update, new unvaults.

The grapple glove, rift to go and junk rifts have been released back onto the island. When weapons are unvaulted in specific updates, they are usually made to help you emerge victorious against the new enemy, like how the Rail Gun was unvaulted to help us defeat Godzilla. The Rail gun turned out to be the go-to weapon when you needed to damage  Godzilla. These new unvaults seem pretty random, but the player base isn’t complaining.

The final event, Death Star Sabotage, has been revealed to start on June 7. Two skins of story characters, those being Hope and Jonesy, have been decrypted in the files wearing Storm Troopers armour. These skins are most probably for the live event. The countdown has begun, but now the question is, What’s occurring on June 7?
