Meet the company that Amazon India has tied up with for their pan-India stationery supplies

In addition to the large vendor base across the country, they entered the partnership to “consolidate all our business buys, pan India, through a ‘one window format”.

Looking to automate their entire procurement process for pan-India stationery supplies and bring efficiency to their sourcing system, Amazon India tied up with Nuoaura. An Arkarise Group venture, Nuoaura is an online megastore for Indian businesses selling all kinds of office supplies, consumables and merchandising needed on a routine basis.

The company was founded by Sharad Jaiprakash in January 2016 and has more than 30 corporate companies already empanelled on the marketplace as one of the preferred vendors and around 250+ product items sold per month. They offer office supplies, IT & Tech products, facility consumables, corporate gifting, breakroom supplies, premium stationery, education supplies, electronic supplies, furniture & office interiors and on-demand printing, marketing and design services.

Nuoaura.com claims to be recording a quarterly revenue growth of 52% and considers themselves well poised to become the most preferred digital platform for Indian businesses in managing their workplace needs. They aim to simplify the business-buying experience and improve productivity for every Indian business.

“Nuoaura crossed over half a million dollar mark within 10 months of operations and is currently seeing 52% quarterly growth with positive cash flow,” said Sharad Jaiprakash, Founder of Nuoaura.com.

Headquartered in Bangalore, Nuoaura.com has set up its regional operations at Hyderabad and Chennai and caters to large corporates, MNCs, SMEs, and startup businesses.

The tie-up with Amazon India has been done for a period of 3 years at an undisclosed amount. Given that Nuoaura has built a supplier base that is pan-India since their inception, they are able to provide multi-location delivery capabilities with consistency in product and pricing with an assurance of the best deals and streamlined procurement process to its clients. The B2B e-commerce megastore will be supplying to Amazon India’s 6 large office locations at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Delhi NCR, which houses a total of more than 30,000 employees having multiple vendors on board with multiple contracts running.

Nuoaura.com offers a cloud platform for companies to centralise their buying needs with customised pricing and online catalogue management and automated approval process. Apparently, Amazon India also uses online sourcing platform and they intend to integrate its platform with Nuoaura.com to automate this entire process and bring in more transparency in buying and also save man-hours spent on vendor coordination and logistics.

According to Amazon India officials, in addition to the large vendor base across the country, they have partnered with Nuoaura “to consolidate all our business buys, pan India, through a ‘one window format”. So instead of 10 offices looking for multiple vendors in 10 different markets, they have now automated the entire process which will bring efficiency in the system.

Sharad adds, “This tie up is a part of our strategy to become leaders in this category with high repeat order rates.”
